TSAVO EAST + TAITA HILLS + TSAVO OVEST + AMBOSELI
DAY 1 – TSAVO EAST
Departure around 6:00 from your Resort; after a short breakfast the jeep will leave towards Tsavo East National Park. Due to its outstanding biodiversity, the park is considered one of the most valuable nature reserves in the world. Inside we can find Flora (shrubs, baobabs and rainforests) and Fauna (baboons, elephants, zebras, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, leopards and much more). Expected arrival at the park at 10:00, first game drive of the day until about 12:00, then to the lodge for lunch break and luggage drop-off, relax until 15:30. The jeep and your guide will be waiting at the entrance of your lodge at 16:00 for the afternoon game drive until sunset. The afternoon game drive is the ideal time of day for spotting animals while hunting. Return to the lodge after sunset with dinner and entertainment.
DAY 2 – TAITA HILLS
6:00 breakfast and departure. Game drive to reach Taita Hills park. Around 11:30 expected arrival at the “Taita Hills” stilt lodges, room check-in and buffet lunch. Rest by the pool or in the room. Departure for the afternoon game drive around 15:45 and it will continue until sunset. Return to camp for dinner and overnight stay. Taita Hills is the only park in Kenya where it is possible to do a night safari (extra charge). You will be accompanied by a park ranger. The night game drive starts around 20:00 and lasts about one hour. There is a high chance of seeing animals hunting at night.
DAY 3 – TSAVO WEST
6:00 breakfast and departure. Game drive to reach Tsavo West park. Around 12:30 arrival at camp, room check-in and buffet lunch. Rest by the pool or in the room. Departure for the afternoon game drive around 15:45 and return to camp for dinner and overnight stay. High chance of seeing leopards, in addition to the animals common to all Kenya parks.
DAY 4 – AMBOSELI
6:00 breakfast and departure. Game drive to reach Amboseli Park. Around 12:30 we will arrive at the tented camp or lodge on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro; once the room is assigned we will meet at the restaurant for the buffet lunch. Rest by the pool or in the room. We will leave for the afternoon game drive around 16:00 and head towards Lake Amboseli where we will continue with the game drive. We will return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 5 – WATAMU
6:00 breakfast and departure for a game drive, we will head towards the park exit. Possibility to visit the Masai village (entrance not included) nearby. Once inside, you can visit their homes, called Manyatta, as well as buy souvenirs to support their community. After leaving the park, we will reach the town of Voi, where we will stop for lunch and a short rest. Around 15:30 we will depart to return to Watamu, where we will arrive in the late afternoon.

What to bring on safari? Here is a short list of what not to forget to pack! Summer clothing, hat, warmer clothing for the evening, tropical mosquito repellent, high-protection sunscreen, sunglasses, swimsuit, power plug adapter, binoculars. Don’t forget the camera!
