EXCURSION PROGRAM
Meeting point and boat departure at 9:00 from Watamu
Stop inside Watamu Marine National Park to snorkel and admire the amazing world beneath the water’s surface
Continue sailing outside the coral reef to spot dolphins
At around 12:00 you reach “Sardegna due”
You will find yourself on a wonderful atoll, surrounded by starfish, pufferfish and many other colorful fish
Lunch will be served on the boat with lobster, prawns, grilled fish and coconut rice
For those who don’t like fish, grilled chicken and meat will be served
After lunch, total relaxation on these wonderful atolls
At 15:00 we depart for the return to Watamu, expected at 17:00.

Departure in the morning at about 08:30 from your resort. We will board a boat equipped with a wooden canopy for sunbathing, masks and fins, life jacket and glass bottom. We will arrive at the Watamu Marine Park, where you can snorkel on the coral reef.
After leaving the marine park we will head to Mida Creek, a nature reserve with mangrove trees and wooden Tibetan bridges. If we are lucky we will meet storks, herons and flamingos. With our boats we will reach Sudi Island, in the middle of Mida Creek, where lunch will be prepared and served based on lobster, grilled fish, prawns, coconut rice with octopus sauce, fruit and drinks. After lunch, possibility of a canoe trip (not included) among the mangroves with a local guide. We will return to the resort in the late afternoon.
Tips for the blue safari: Summer clothing, swimsuit, flip-flops, hat, sunglasses, high-protection sunscreen, beach towel, camera.

The ruins of the city of Gede are located 7 km from the town of Watamu and are the most important archaeological site on the coast. The word "Gede" comes from the Oromo dialect and means "precious". Declared a national monument in 1927 and a national park in 1948, this place is set in baobab vegetation. The ruins concern the ancient merchant city of Gedi, dating between the thirteenth and seventeenth centuries. Notable in particular are the three mosques and the sultan's house. The objects found in the houses are kept in the museum opened in 2000 and can be visited at the end of the tour. Also, at the entrance we will be welcomed by many friendly little monkeys used to human presence and interaction, who really like the bananas brought by tourists! Almost impossible not to have them snatch them from your hands

Meeting at your resort at 8:30 in the morning. By car, we head towards the Malindi area. After a short tour of the wood factory and the spice market we cross the Sabaki River and the village of Mambrui to reach Che Shale beach, passing through coconut palms and sand dunes.
This beach is also known as the golden beach for the special and unique color of its sand. It will feel like you are in the middle of a sea of gold.
Here we can walk on the sand dunes. We will leave again for Robinson Island, where we will arrive by boat around 12:30.
Half-hour tour and lunch at 13:00 (crab, prawns, fish, coconut rice, drinks excluded).
At 15:00 we will return to the mainland by boat where the car will be waiting for us to go back to your resort or continue to Marafa Grand Canyon, if you have chosen the combined package.

Meeting at your resort in the early afternoon, where one of our Dreaming Kenya guides will be waiting for you. We will reach Marafa – Grand Canyon, where there will be an additional local guide who will tell you about the area’s culture and traditions and will take you on the tour inside the gorges, up to return back up, waiting for sunset. Return to the resort at around 19:30.

In Africa sunsets are always spectacular, but seen from a canoe surrounded by mangroves it’s an unmissable thrill. Once on the shore, we’ll take the typical canoe carved from baobab wood and start the ride through the mangrove channels, waiting for sunset. We’ll end the excursion relaxing on the stilt platforms, tasting the famous crab samosas, a local specialty. Option to dine à la carte at the restaurant. Return to the resort at around 7:30 pm

DAY 1
Departure from your hotel at around 8:30, heading to Malindi International Airport. After check-in we will take off towards Lamu Island. After a flight of about thirty minutes we will arrive on Lamu Island.
On arrival, after leaving the luggage at the hotel I have chosen for you, a short tour through the streets of the old town. Return to the hotel for lunch scheduled for around 13:00. Some relaxation after lunch and around 16:00 we will go to another island called Shela until 17:30.
Then return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 2
Wake-up at 7:00, breakfast at 07:30 and departure at 08:00, and we will head to another island near Lamu where you can sunbathe and have lunch with a grilled meal based on lobster, fish and fruit. After lunch we head to the hotel and straight to the airport where the flight back to Malindi will be waiting for us. Once in Malindi, a taxi will be waiting for us to Watamu.
