MY NAME IS GIAN LUCA ZAMBERNARDI AND I COME FROM GROSSETO, LOCATED IN THE HEART OF THE MAREMMA, SO A TRUE MAREMMANO DOC CENTRAL ITALY .
I WENT FISHING IN KENYA FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 2023 AND I FELL IN LOVE WITH WATAMU AND THE SURROUNDINGS. FROM THAT DAY I DECIDED TO START A NEW FISHING AND SAFARI DESTINATION FOR OUR BUSINESS
I HAVE A REAL PASSION FOR FISHING, WHICH THEN BECAME A FULL-TIME JOB; FUN IS ALWAYS AT THE TOP OF EVERYTHING, BECAUSE WITHOUT IT THINGS DON'T WORK AS THEY SHOULD. PLUS, LET'S ADD GOOD ITALIAN AND MAREMMA CUISINE .
OUR FACILITY HOSTS UP TO 6/8 DOUBLE ROOMS, WHICH YOU CAN USE AS SINGLE, DOUBLE OR KING SIZE.

BASED IN WATAMU.
WE RENOVATED OUR ENTIRE PROPERTY WITH A PRIVATE INDOOR POOL TO MAKE IT COMFORTABLE FOR GUESTS, BUILDING A NEW KITCHEN. EVERY EVENING, OUR CHEFS COOK THE FISH WE CATCH, MEAT, VEGETABLES AND MUCH MORE, OFFERING A UNIQUE CULINARY EXPERIENCE WITH EXCELLENT FOOD AND TOP-QUALITY WINE.
NOW WE CAN OFFER AN ALL-INCLUSIVE HOLIDAY FOR ALL OUR ANGLING CLIENTS AND FAMILIES,
PLUS WE ALSO HAVE A TRANSFER SERVICE BOTH TO WATAMU AND FROM MOMBASA AIRPORT, MALINDI, NAIROBI, ALL HANDLED BY US
I live in Tuscany, more precisely in Maremma, and whenever I can I go to the sea for a little fishing!!!!!!!
My passion started when I was little, when my father in his free time took me fishing at the small lake; I was about 7/8 years old when I held a fishing rod for the first time……and from there it all began!!!
Growing up I started going fishing on the Ombrone river; whenever I could, by bicycle, armed with a rod, a small box of accessories, a bit of maggots or bread, I set off to spend a day fishing on the river.
I drifted a bit away from fishing at the age of 17 when I bought my first motocross bike, a passion I had also long dreamed of all my life.
I immediately tried my hand at amateur competitions: village festivals, small provincial and regional championships.
The real debut, however, was in the 1990 Tuscan team championship in Viareggio on the sandy track of the motocross circuit that once also hosted national and international races.
From there, little by little with the various events, I began to bring home my first results and above all my first satisfactions, winning various races at village-festival level and various provincial motocross championships.
In the years 93 94 I started winning at regional level and taking part in national and international races with good results: Provincial title year 1994-1995-1995-1996-1997, Tuscan Motocross Championship year 1995-1996-1997-1998 category 125 and in the 250 category 2nd place in the year 1997.

In 1998 I bought my first little boat!!!! a 5.50 Molinari with central console and a Mercury Super amrica 40 KW engine and with her I started trying my hand at light trolling, bolentino and BIG Game.
The Big Game specialty was not my favorite because I couldn’t get great results, partly due to bad luck and partly due to not-perfect coordination in the fishing action (unfortunately you can’t learn everything on your own!!!).
One day, however, I go with an old and expert friend (…..“old” is not referring to age!!!!!) tuna fishing, and by listening to his advice, learning with my eyes the little tricks given by experience and then practicing…. I managed little by little to get my first results… and my passion for Big Game has grown ever since.
Aside: in the years 2003-2008 I also returned to motorcycle racing and won the Tuscan regional Supermotard championship in the premier class and I won, in 2007-2008, the KTM one-make Supermotard Championship.
The motorcycle is a passion that I still carry inside me but that, due to time and above all age, I can no longer practice at the levels I have always aspired to.
At the end of the 2008 season I definitively quit racing and devoted myself exclusively to fishing and from there, after various races and trophies, I managed to reach the highest peak….. THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP….. a goal that any athlete in any sport tries to achieve.
THIS IS SOMETHING I TRULY WISH EVERYONE CAN ACHIEVE, THE EMOTIONS YOU FEEL ARE INDESCRIBABLE!
My motto is: Honesty, Fairness, Passion and above all…. ALWAYS BELIEVE!!!
